Dance school showcase & productions
On most occasions, we’ll have more than one photographer for theatre productions. Usually we’ll photograph the dress rehearsal so we can move around without disturbing the audience. Plus, we can also capture respectful behind the scenes/backstage action if you’d like us to.
We always make sure that we’ve had plenty of conversations before your theatre date/s and can also come along to your studio rehearsals beforehand to see the structure of the show etc.
Photos will be available on the secure ‘Client area’ of the website for your dancers’ families to buy and we can give you access to them to use for your dance school promotion.
We are licenced chaperones and DBS checked.

Dance school photoshoots
We can come to your dance school and set up a photography studio within your studio (backdrop, lights etc). Photos can be simple poses or full on action leaps and kicks. Depending on your requirements, your dancers could wear their dance school uniform, performance wear or show costumes etc – the choices are up to you and your performers!
Often, we run these shoots in conjunction with your showcase. Your dancers can have photos taken in their show costumes (usually 2-3 weeks before the show). We can then have printed copies available in the foyer for families to buy during the theatre show and also make them available on the secure ‘Client area’ of the website. If you’d rather hold a stand alone event, then of course that’s a great opportunity for your dancers too.
Dancer portfolios
Dancers can book private photography studio shoots where we’ll spend time capturing stunning shots. These sessions can be as long or short as you’d like to book – it really depends on what you’d like to achieve from the shoot and how many outfits and styles of dance you want to capture. We’ll take time to review each shot on screen with the dancer as we go through the session to make sure you’re happy with both your line and technique together with facial expression. These sessions can also include headshots.
Teens
When children become teenagers, they continue to change so dramatically. And the time moves on so fast, before you know it they’ve fled the nest. Our teenage photoshoots are very easy going and relaxed. We always do our best to make them feel at ease (see ‘What people say’). Photos can be in various outfits and can include portraits/headshots - single teens, siblings or how about a teenage photoshoot party?
Prom
We can set up a photoshoot space at school proms or hold a group or single studio session a few days beforehand to freeze the memory of your teen in their beautiful (and probably expensive!) outfit.
Families and children
We can capture memories of you and your family either on location or in the studio. Whether this is for a special occasion, a birthday or Christmas present or you simply want a lasting record of your loved ones, sessions are always very light-hearted and good fun. We’ll always have a chat before the shoot date to make sure we’re all clear about what you’d like to achieve and what you may need to bring with you.
Pricing
Prices vary depending on your requirements. We believe in being transparent, up-front, realistic and affordable. We charge a clear amount for our time (rather than holding free or 'discounted' photoshoots followed by charging extortionate prices for the photos you fall in love with). Our prices are for an amount of time (prep time, shoot time and post editing time) and include an agreed amount of digital or printed images. As an example, a 30-minute studio photoshoot including four digital images in both colour and black & white costs just £50.
